Zinfandel is the one of the best American grape. Zinfandel has a confusing history as there has been a dispute about its origin. It was thought to be originated from Southern Italy, but now it is proved that Zinfandel originated from Croatia.
The zinfandel old wines are now treasured for the production of premium red wine.
Zinfandel has always found ways to maintain its plantings in California.
The variety of Zinfandel is currently planted everywhere across the state. A scattered planting of Zinfandel exists in southern Oregon, Mexico, and South America, and as a uncertainty in the odd Australian and South African vineyard.
Zinfandel is well known for its mysterious past and roller coaster ride of popularity.
