French Wines

Oh, la, la. With 12% alcohol, it was a nice, not over powering, and fruity. I found that Wine Shop.com carries this if you haven't seen it in your local stores:
Created from mature vines, more than a quarter of a century old, the 2005 Chateau La Pagaute is a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon pouring, you`ll notice the shining garnet-red color which gives way to fresh raspberry aromas and deep cherry flavors. Serve at a spectacular dinner party with stuffed veal tenderloin or with ripe pears and gorgonzola cheese.
Varietal: Merlot/Cabernet
Country: France
Region: Bordeaux
I'm not always a huge fan of blended or mixed wines, but with this one, I honestly didn't even notice it as far as taste.

Excellent bottle of wine. I just ordered my 2 case since receiving my first one in the middle of March.
