Anarchy in Wine Country
Filed in archive California Wines on August 20, 2007
No, no, noth that kind of anarchy. There isn't any kind of revolt. Grapes are being angrily ripped from the vines and tossed around. Fermenting tanks aren't being tipped over. Everything is in good order in Paso Robles, especially at Four Vines where last week some clever thinker in their marketing department had the idea to mow an anarchy symbol into a field of dwarf barley to promote their Anarchy blend. The symbol can be viewed from as high as 5,000 feet up. To catch a glimpse, visit KSBY online.
Anarchy is a blend of 40 percent Syrah, 31 percent Mourvedre & 29 percent Zinfandel, and it retails for around $30.
