Become a Wine Graduate Student
Filed in archive Wine Resources on May 7, 2007
I just finished graduating myself recently, though not with a degree in wine. While I am not interested in returning to school any time soon, you never know, especially when it comes to something fun like learning about wine. If you've ever thought of turning from a wine lover to a professional wine taster, then you might want to check out some of the educational opportunities available at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust:
The Wine & spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality education and training in wines and spirits. Since then, WSET has grown into the foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a suite of sought-after qualifications. We now even have a membership body - the Institute of Wines & Spirits - for those who have passed the WSET Diploma, our top qualification.
While they are located in London, England, this institute also offers some web-based courses, so even if you don't live there you might be able to still take classes on line.
