Blue Bottled Riesling

I'm usually the wine hunter at the grocery store (since I do the weekly grocery shopping) and my husband's territory is our local ABC liquor store. Obviously, his wine territory is a little better than mine when it comes variety.

On one recent trip a bottle of Schmitt Sohne Riesling Auslese 2002 caught his eye. The unmistakable blue bottle is hard to miss, even when faced with row upon row of wine bottles. Like many holiday wine drinkers, we have been sipping a lot of sweet wine wine lately. And this was one of many yummy sweet wines we've had at the dinner table lately.

Fruity and sweet, you can probably find this in your local liquor store. But, if not, I did find a 2003 bottle at Liquor Outlet.
