Celebrate with Sparkling Wine

Time to pop open the bubbly, baby! I'm a college graduate (again)!

This is geeky me walking up to get "hooded" at my graduation ceremony. (That darn hat kept fall off.) And, no, that's got nothing to do with being "in the hood." They put this funky silk and velvet hood over you if you are a doctoral student.

When we got home, we had a wonderful bottle of Kenwood Sparkling Yalupa Brut wine chilling in the fridge. I also found a box of Brownies from Fairytale Brownies literally sitting at my door step, a graduation gift from some good friends. Yes, an odd combination, but you know what? It tasted great. Or maybe that was the sweet taste of success!
