Chantelle Des Vins White Wine

In my never ending search for super cheap wine that tastes good too, I discovered of all things a white table wine that I actually like. And, if you've read this blog much at all you already know I'm not a huge fan of white wines unless you count a Riesling, and most recently I've turned into a fan of Viognier.

Now I can add another bottle to my list: Chantelle Des Vins White Wine. Your basic generic table wine, for $3.99 I was very impressed by this little guy. Another nice addition, for those who are looking for a lower alcohol content, this one is 11%.

I found mine on one of the lower shelves of my super market isle, obviously not one of the big name wines they are looking to push. But, it's also available on line at Duty Free Wine, who describes it as: Very much a superior quality Table Wine. This medium dry white wine is full of fruit and flavour. An exceptionally good value wine. Easy to drink this wine can be drunk at any time.

I don't know if I'd go so far to say it is "superior" but for four bucks, it's pretty darn good.
