There may soon be a new diet supplement available. In fact, it's already on the market!
A recent study at the University of Porto seems to show that red wine can facilitate weight loss.

A recent study at the University of Porto seems to show that red wine can facilitate weight loss.
The key may be a chemical that occurs naturally in red wine that increases levels of oestrogen in the body. Oestrogen plays a role in the metabolism of fat, and also fat distribution.The study was done in animals. But, hey, wouldn't you love for it to turn out to be true...?

Interesting. Let's all hope it is true in humans as well. How much wine though that is the question-if it's an American serving that's probably too much!
