Eric Asimov in Alcase

The Pour at the NY Times had a earlier this month that I enjoyed and thought I'd point out in case you didn't see it.
I had the privilege of attending a big vertical tasting of Trimbach's Clos Ste. Hune, which is on just about anybody's short list of the world's great rieslings.
Asimov was part of a dinner for 16 guests where Jean Trimbach took the group through a tasting of 25 of the winery's vintages. His description of the evenings events (and of the wines involved) make for good reading. You can find it here.
