California Wines
by tammy on November 14, 2006

Nice and fruity and not overly intense, with an alcohol content of 12.5%, it was a wonderful addition to our dinner of shrimp and pasta.
I looked around on-line and discovered that (as of this moment at least) a Taste of California still has this in stock, which is not always the case I've learned.
Here are their tasting notes:
Region: Lodi, California
Total Acid: .62 g/l
Alcohol: 12.5%
Residual Sugar: 0.63 g/l
Cellaring: 2-3 years
Panel's Notes: Aromas of Black Cherry, ripe plum and berries are echoed by complex, ripe fruit flavors in this soft, fruit-forward style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe tannins provide just the right structure for aging and balance.
Winery Background: Vineyards established over 100 years ago are the source for Estrada Creek Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes from this growing area provide complexity and balance to the finished wine.
Food: An ideal partner for roast lamb or beef.

My husband and I both loved this wine, which is unusual! We would love to buy more, but "A Taste of California" has no more in stock. Is this the only distributor, or can we buy direct from the winery?
