eWine Match Service, a joint effort between the FINE Design Group, a West Coast technology and design firm, and Foster's Wine Estates, a Napa-based premium wine company, is a new service that brings a "virtual sommelier" to your cell phone or computer. Users simply visit eWineMatch.com, or text 411511, and enter a meal, key ingredient, or cuisine. Within seconds, the system responds with three wine selections in a variety of price points and regions. What a great way to overcome consumer's reluctance to try new wines.
