Finally, Safe Wine Transport

Anyone who has bought wine while travelling has no doubt fretted over getting the bottles from Point A to Point B without breakage. In the past, I've either carried wine on board (which is no longer allowed on planes) or else rolled the bottles up in clothes, tried to pad them as well as possible, and crossed my fingers that the bottles wouldn't break. But I recently saw a new travel bag that will make it easy to safely take your wine on a plane with you. The BottleWise Duo is an attractive bag that will tightly hold two 750 ml bottles of wine and fits right in your suitcase. It was developed in response to the U.S. Transportation Security Administration's restrictions on liquids in carry-on bags. The bag features padded, insulated compartments that keep the bottle snug and tights. And just in case the unthinking happens and a bottle of wine does break, the interior pouches are liquid-tight so the wine won't leak over all of your clothes. The pouch is also removable for easy clean-up if necessary.
BottleWise comes in three colors: Black, Bordeaux, and Cork and it retails for $48.95. Considering that you might be bringing home wines that are worth far more than that, this seems like a great solution to a problem that has plagued almost every wine lover I know!
