Food & Wine Announces Winners
Filed in archive Wine News by Carol Bancroft on September 06, 2007

Four years ago, Allen Shoup started a winery in Walla Walla, Washington. He had previously run the Simson Lane wine group for 20 years until retiring. Yesterday his winery, Long Shadows, was named Winery of the Year at Food & Wine Magazine's 10th annual American Wine Awards. Robert Foley at Robert Foley Vineyards in Napa, California won the honor of Best Winemaker.
