In one of those "just say no" kind of efforts, Idaho's Oneida County was the last hold out, not allowing any wine to be sold unless you bought it from a liquor store.
Here's more from Franklin County Overturns Wine Ban:
Franklin County wine lovers can toast county commissioners for overturning a longtime ban on wine.
After several meetings, the three-member commission passed a resolution that allows the sale of wines containing less than 16 percent alcohol by volume.
The resolution allows convenience and grocery store owners to sell table wine
The county's ban on restaurant wine sales is still in tact.
The resolution passed two-to-one and licenses will cost retailers 100 dollars.
The largely Mormon county was one of two "dry" counties in Idaho that prohibited the sale of wine in any stores besides liquor outlets.
Oneida County remains the state's last "dry" county.
Welcome to the 21st century, Idaho.
