The NT Times had an informative piece earlier this month on wines from Italy in the $10 to $20 prie range.
Few places offer a wider selection of singular wines in the $10 to $20 price range - the sweet spot for great wine values - than Italy.
The author, Eeic Asimov, talks about the diversity of Italian wines and makes a few specific recommendations. The diversity of tastes, according to Asimov, is at least party the result of the country's varied geography. With vineyards from the warm hills of Sicily to the slopes of the Alps, there's lota of diversity...
