Keep Your Wine Cool
This portable wine cellar, a Haier Table-Top Wine Cellar that fits 12 bottles, is one way to keep your wine cool. I could see how it would be handy if you were entertaining outside or had a large group and didn't have enough room in the frig for all the beverages and food. It didn't get the greatest of reviews from some Amazon.com readers, though.

There are a number of other ways you can keep your wine cool, whether you're drinking wine coolers or something like Chardonnay. Here are a few ideas for you:

  • Rachael Ray suggests using a child's toy red wagon, fill it up with ice, and set your wine bottles in the wagon to look cool and be cool at the same time.

  • Don't forget the hardware store. You can find large metal tubs, used for oil changes and icky things like that, pretty cheaply. Fill with ice and wine.

  • Finally, don't forget your local garden center. Get one of those big pots used for plants, and again, fill with ice and your choice of vintage.
