For those in Southern California, you might want to check your calendars and see if you're free next weekend. The Mammoth Festival of Wine, Music & Food will be taking place from August 17-19 in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, CA. Some of the vineyards that will be there include Cline, Francis Coppola Winery, J. Lohr, Trefethen, and Wente. After a bit of wine tasting you might want to check out a performance by Big Head Todd and the Monsters, the Tito Puente, Jr. Orchestra, Chris Cain, or Vance Gilbert. Art a la Carte, Mammoth's long-running art festival, will also be taking place. And let's not forget about the food! There will be plenty of that, too. If you are interested in attending, be sure to purchase your tickets no later than August 16th.

The deal: The special starts at $136 per person, double occupancy per night. It includes admission to the Friday night Wine Walk-In at the Village at Mammoth Mountain, admission to Saturday concerts, live music on Sunday, two nights' lodging, wine tasting, a T-shirt and a wine glass.

Details: The package price is per adult (must be 21 and older), per night based on double occupancy and is for a one-bedroom condo at the Village Lodging. The price does not include taxes or fees. Saturday and Sunday concerts will be held at the Wood site, about a quarter-mile from the Village at Mammoth. A shuttle bus will be available.
