But, along with cold weather in Florida, specifically Naples, Florida, turns to wine and a winning wine festival with tons of great auctions to bid on and a very worthy charity to raise money for.

Dominating the seventh annual charity wine auction are collections of truly rare vintages donated by renowned U.S. and international wineries as well as private donors. The wine lots include nearly impossible-to-obtain large-format bottles of exquisite vintages, and premier cellar finds such as a three-liter bottle of 1996 Screaming Eagle and a magnificent three-liter bottle of 1947 Chateau Cheval Blanc. Several wine lots include amazing trips for oenophiles. One example: a trip to Burgundy hosted by the famed Drouhin Family of Maison Joseph Drouhin, with accommodations at the Drouhin guesthouse; a private winery tour and tasting; a private tour of Burgundy; and an exclusive dinner in the Maisons cellars with Veronique Drouhin-Boss and prepared by a Michelin-rated chef.
Also among the 71 auction packages www.napleswinefestival.com/lots/ are exclusive yachting excursions to exotic ports; extraordinary tours of Africa and Argentina; a trip to Tuscany and Rome highlighted by a private tour of the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum; tickets to the invitation-only Showboats International Rendezvous in the Principality of Monaco; a two-year private jet lease; and celebrity-studded offerings - one lot includes dining with Robert Redford and another offers breakfast and lunch with Martha Stewart in two New England towns, transportation courtesy of Martha's private jet.
