Newport Seafood & Wine Festival

It might be wintertime, but there are still plenty of wines events going on around the country to keep you busy! One in particular is the Newport Seafood & Wine Festival. It is being held for the 31st year and has become quite an attraction. I can't thin of a better way to spend a mid-winter weekend! Here are the details:

Newport Seafood & Wine Festival - February 22, 23 and 24 at Rogue Ales Warehouse, 2320 OSU Drive, Newport, Oregon

  • Wines from over 70 wineries from around the northwest, including the Noble Estate Vineyard, Chateau Benoit, Sake One, Silvan Ridge, Hinman Vineyards Winery, Hauer of the Dauen Winery, Orchard Heights, Willamette Valley Vineyards, Spangler Vineyards, Pheasant Valley Winery and Nehalem Bay Winery.

  • Entry fees at the door range from $5 to $13, depending on the day. Advance group tickets have now gone on sale, allowing larger groups a special entrance. Groups of 15 or more can call the Chamber office (800-262-7844).

  • E-ticket prices differ slightly from door prices, and they include a $1.74 handling fee. For Friday, they are $9 without the festival wine glass, and $14 with the glass. Saturday, they are $13 without, $18 with the festival wine glass. Sunday e-ticket prices are $5, and $10 with the wine glass. Click here to purchase an e-ticket.
