Wine Shops
by Sandy Mitchell on March 14, 2008
Lavinia, in Paris' 1st arrondissement on the Boulevard Madeleine, is a three-story wine emporium that offers wines from France and all over the world. The wine tasting bar welcomes visitors to taste a variety of reds and whites for just €1 (about $1.50 right now) -a true bargain in a city where such deals are difficult to find. The Web site and the video tour of the store are in French, but it's easy to understand what they are describing.
