Pink Bubblie Gets Vintner's Blessing
I guess I'm still thinking about pink wines as I surfed over to House & Garden's web site and caught the latest pick from their wine writer, Jay McInerney, a 2004 Schramsberg Brut Rosé (picture).

After reading his brief rah rah, "refreshing and balanced, with a beautiful pink-orange color and a little hint of fresh raspberries in the mouth," I noticed a link over to his article on how to locate smaller production wines, interesting. Here's one of his tips:

When seeking an American wine, the winery itself is often the best place to start. Many American wineries sell directly to the consumer through their websites and most of these are willing to ship as little as a bottle or two. Since the supreme court ruled against restrictive interstate wine shipping laws last year, it?s much easier to get wine sent to your doorstep.
