Pink Cat Wine Bottle
Filed in archive Wine Accessories on June 6, 2007
As a cat lover (I've got three...or...erh...three have me) and wine lover, I thought these cool cat-shaped wine bottles were perrrrfect. You can read about how they were developed and the special pink cat wine bottle's purpose over at the Moselland blog:
And while we're fond of all our vinous pets, Moselland's Pink Cat Riesling, sporting a breast cancer awareness ribbon, holds a special place in our hearts because Halby Marketing has pledged to donate $6.00 per case to cancer research.
Mr. Halby's wife, Pam, is personally overseeing the administration of our donation program and we've already made a significant initial contribution to Stanford University School of Medicine, earmarked for prostate cancer research, and to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Since breast cancer research is a cause without borders, it's appropriate that sales of Moselland wines provide the source of funds for Halby Marketing's donation.

I would like to know where I could purchase this Pink Cat Wine, address for the winery. I would like to know how I would be able to do a custom gift basket that I would be able to sell on my website and be able to donate a % to breast cancer?

I would love to know where this winery is located. I have a custom gift basket business and would like to be able to offer this wine in a giftbasket and offer a % for breast cancer research.

Hi! This is a German wine and the pink is a limited edition, I believe. Here is one company that carries it: http://www.shopthewinealley.com/mokari20g.html

02/04/09 I found 7 cases of these Pink Find a Cure Bottles at the World Market in Falls Church, VA on S. Jefferson Street. I bought 2 cases so they have at lease 5 left plus some loose bottles. They are on sale for 9.99.

@ Catlover
Sounds like your planning a big party. Whenever I make cat wine, I get about 3 bottles from every cat. Before making CatWine, always remember that the cats must be purrrrrfectly rotten, if you let them rot too long the sugar levels in the cat could reach a point where not enough alcohol will be produced. Although you may want to freeze your kittens, because they will rot much faster than the fully grown cats. Freezing the kittens also gives you the advantage of being able to divide them up easily. My advice to you is to freeze the kittens and let the cats rot for a little longer.
I hope your party isn't a yawrn.
Sincerely, Simon.
