More from Top Wines Win 2007 Swiss International Air Lines Wine Awards:
Plaisir de Merle Chardonnay 2006 won a Gold medal and took double honours as both Top Chardonnay and Top White. The wine has also been selected for on board service in first class on Swiss International Air Lines.
The Best Value Red (under R60) went to the Kango Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Shiraz 2006 in Oudtshoorn, which not only took a Gold medal, but was also selected for inflight service in business class aboard short haul flights of Swiss International Air Lines.
The coveted Top Pinotage award went to Deetlefs Oak Matured Pinotage 2005, with the Groenland Antoinette Marie Reserve 2004 walking away with the Top Cape Blend (without Pinotage). Akkerdal Wild boar 2005 took the Top Bordeaux Style Red award, with Alkmaar winning the Best Kept Secret category with their The Old School Master 2005. Each of these wines also received a Gold medal.

Thanks for information here Certainly there are different types of wine for different occasions, some people like red some white, I personally prefer wine more but it depends on a meal and how I feel.
