Sangria Recipe

Sangria: it's a marvelous thing to do with red wine. The drink is a Spanish tradition and it is easier to make than you might think.

Of course the most important ingredient is a bottle of red wine. cabernet sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz - take your pick. But remember that the taste of your sangria will vary depending on the wine you pick.

You also need citrus fruit: oranges, lemons, pineapple and lime. Throw in some sugar, some raspberries and/or strawberries, perhaps a shot of gin, maybe some ginger ale.
