Second Glass Wine Suggestions

If you're looking for some cheap wine, well not super cheap but at least most are under $20, which isn't too bad these days, check out the list of recommendations from The Second Glass.

They provide a handy kind of wine chart including an image of the label/bottle (which I noticed was often at least half empty..he he), the name and region, varietal, price, vintage, and then a little blurb with their opinions on each one.

For example, the Tomaiolo Riserva Chianti pictured:

This bottle doesn't have much in the way of aroma, but does that really matter when you can get a riserva for 12 bucks? It's still a great tasting wine with berry flavors in the foreground and a trace of kalamata olives that is balanced with some oak.
