The Official Wine of the Buffalo Sabres

Hockey isn't the first sport that springs to mind when I think of wine, but hey - why not? I like hockey and I like wine. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there like myself. The Buffalo Sabres must be thinking the same thing because they've teamed up with Bully Hill Vineyards to create an official wine for the 2007-2008 season.

From Business First:

Bully Hill will be producing a limited edition Sabres Branded Wine: Sabres Red and Sabres White. Sabres Red is described as a blend of New York red grape varieties combined to make a distinctive and mellow blend. Sabres White is an elegant German style wine with delicate floral aromas. Both Sabres Red and Sabres White will be available in local stores and on game nights at HSBC Arena.
