Wine personality Gary Vaynerchuk had a good program earlier this month on Three White Wines that have been getting a lot of attention: Simone Sauvignon Blanc 2008 from Chile, Nobilio Icon Sauvignon Blanc 2008 New Zealand, and Tolosa Chardonnay Edna Valley 2006 from California.

All three wines had high marks form other reviewers. The Simone was only $6, the Icon was $14, and the Tolosa was $12 for a 375ml half bottle.

Gary's conclusions? I'll let you watch the show yourself. But I've been out looking for the Simone...
