I really scored a few weeks ago when I found my grocery store had turning Leaf on sale. I ended up with a 2005 Reserve of Truning Leaf Cabernet Sauvignon for $5.99. I've seen this range in price from as high as $10 a bottle, so I am very pleased with the deal I got on this bottle. Of course, since then I haven't seen it on sale again, but hey, at least I scored once with it.

The alcohol content on this is 13.5% so it not over the top but nothing to miss either. You can find tasting notes and other information at the Turning Leaf website:



I don't know if you'll be lucky enough to find this on sale locally, but I've seen it for this same price on line. Of course, then you've got shipping costs, but I think this is definitely worth a taste if you manage to find a bottle under $10.
