Wineries
by tammy on April 17, 2006

Valley View Winery is located in the town of Jacksonville, in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. They aren't the new kid on the block, though. They have been around since the 1850s and the winery was established in 1972.
Along with daily wine tours, they offer picnic lunches (yum!), special events like weddings or parties, and a wine club. Their wines include a pretty good mix of both red and white, Merlot, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and one bottle that caught my eye was this for $34 a bottle:

Anna Maria Sauvignon Blanc, Late Harvest 2000
A wonderful experiment! We took frozen botrytis affected grapes, very slowly pressed and fermented them and aged the nectar in two French oak barrels. Wonderfully sweet.
Very Limited Production
