Since it's unlucky Friday the 13th, I thought this was a good story to report today. I mean it seems to fit in with a day that is expect to bring bad luck in general. Seems like celebrity Victoria Beckham, a super popular British model, is using wine as a diet tool. I'm not sure from this article if she used it to lose the weight (now would that be a great diet find!) or if she is supposed to be using wine as a way to gain weight (seems more likely if we compare notes, sister).

The mystery surrounding Victoria Beckham's diet and waif like figure continues to grow after claims that she's using alcohol to build an appetite.

According to a friend quoted in Closer magazine, Posh's stomach has shrunk so much, she now needs to drink to 'get the munchies' before she can eat.

Speaking about Posh's disappearing size 4 frame, a friend said: 'She has no appetite whatsoever because her stomach has shrunk so much.'

'The reason that she has been seen drinking is she has completely lost her appetite.'

'If she has a glass of wine or two then she gets the munchies like everyone else gets when they're on a night out drinking.'

However, a spokeswoman for the 32-year-old has angrily rubbished the latest theory to surface about Posh's weight.

She said it was 'utterly ridiculous and there is no truth in it at all.'

Attention turned to Posh's alcohol intake after she was pictured out looking worse-for-wear following a boozy night in Mayfair with P Diddy and her husband David.
