Wine News
by tammy on April 7, 2006

I have to give credit for my wine education primarily to my better half, my husband, Michael, who spent time overseas as a member of the U.S. Air Force. While living in Europe, mainly Germany, Michael became an amateur wine connoisseur of sorts. Today, we celebrate and explore the world of wine together.
We are members of a few wine clubs and occasionally venture out to local wine tastings when we get the chance. However, with our hectic schedules, we find that staying home and enjoying each other's company over a glass of Shiraz, a few slices of cheese, and a crusty loaf of bread beats a night out on the town.
Other than drinking wine and eating good food, like most people, I have to work for a living, and that includes a number of freelance writing jobs. I write for both digital and print media. You can find a complete listing of my web writing and books at www.tammypowely.com.

Thank you for the welcome, Karen. I'm an awful cook, but wine, cheese, and bread, I can do!
