Wine Aerator
If nothing else, you have to admit this wine gadget looks pretty darn cool. It's a wine aerator. The basic idea is that pour wine through this thing-a-ma-bob, it decants super fast so you don't have to wait around for the process to take place naturally. It's called Vinturi:

Exica, Inc. today announced the launch of its signature product, Vinturi (www.vinturi.com), an innovative new wine aerator which instantly decants wine and releases its intended flavors and aromas. Vinturi, a sleek, elegant wine accessory designed to accelerate the traditional aeration process, allows consumers to harness all the benefits of allowing a wine to breathe in the time it takes to pour a glass.

"Wine opens up and tastes better when it has been allowed to breathe," said Rio Sabadicci, Vinturi's inventor. "Vinturi accelerates the breathing process, enabling consumers to fully enjoy their wine from the very first sip, rather than waiting an hour or more for traditional decanting."

Consumers simply hold Vinturi over a glass and pour wine through. Carefully designed to blend beautiful form with function, Vinturi draws in and mixes the proper amount of air for the right amount of time, allowing wine to breathe instantly.

"It's a good idea to aerate wine," said Anthony Dias Blue, one of the country's most influential wine personalities. "Vinturi is an item that you can use to aerate wine right into the glass."
