However, there is a connection and you can find it this August in California wine country.
Just head over to the Sonoma Wine Country Glass Art and Bead Festival on August 12th and 13th. Here is some more info from the Soft Flex web site:

Soft Flex Company will be doing Demos throughout the Festival in their booth. Sara Hardin of "Ask Sara" will also be on hand.
Arrow Springs will be doing FREE Lamp Working/Bead Making Demonstrations in their booth
MAKE & TAKE PROJECTS
Bead Unique Magazine will be providing FREE Make & Take projects. No experience necessary. Make a beaded project and take it away with you in 30 minutes.
