Yes, I know. I know. I way, way, way late on my usually Monday morning wine blogosphere round up. Why? Well, let's just say school has me totally freaked out right now and I'm pretty much treading water when it comes to everything none school related. I just need to get through October, and I will (hopefully) be ready to pop open a cork from a bottle of bubbly.

But, enough about me.

Basic Juice suggests instead of apple pie with wine, which is a stretch, try apple pizza. He even offers a recipe.

Good Grape offers his 25 cents concerning a new book recently published about wine cellars.

Cheers toasts us with a ten dollar bottle of 2004 Veramonte Reserva Merlot.
