Wine Cork Fix
Another pick from the Williams Sonoma web site are these wine corks. Now, these are a lot more reasonable priced than my last pick of a wine cooling bucket. They go for $29 monogrammed or $24 plain, and you get a set of three. Not too bad of a price then, and heck, you could give two away and keep one:

Designed to help just-opened wines retain their flavors, our stoppers can also be used to provide a fine finishing touch to gift bottles of oils and vinegars. The stoppers are made of cork and chrome-plated brass. 1" diam., 2 1/2" high. Set of three, one of each. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

I've had cork tops given to me as gifts before, and I have to say they are extremely handy. I know this is one of those times an anti-cork wine drinker will start touting the benefits of screw caps, so go ahead. On this point you are right. It can be a real pain to try to get a cork that you took out of a wine bottle back inside.

But, if you have extra wine cork bottle stoppers around, then you don't have an issue any more.
