Wine Gift Baskets
Filed in archive Wine Accessories on December 10, 2006
Wine just naturally goes with food. That's one of the reasons it's so popular. More and more people are beginning to realize that you don't have to have a special event to put a bottle of wine on the table at dinner time. Plus, sometimes it's just fun to snack and have some wine with cheese and crackers or a little lunch meat.
If you know of others on your gift list that enjoy wine and the occasional snack attack, then consider a wine gift basket for them. I just purchased a basket of goodies for a special someone on my list at Wine Country Gift Baskets, and I can't wait until she gets it. Loaded up with wine, such as Cabernet or Chardonnay, many of these sorts of baskets are also filled with munchies like twice-baked roasted garlic crackers, cabernet black paper cheese spread, and cinnamon roasted cashews.
Picture is their Bonello d'Italia, which goes for about $30 not including shipping:
This Italian winery blends the world's favorite varietals with the exciting flavors of Italy. Bonello d'Italia Gabbiano cabernet sauvignon primitivo, primitivo grapes are similar to California zinfandel, is accompanied by Italian tiramisu and almond praline chocolate, penne rigate pasta, tomato and basil pasta sauce, Mamma Mellace's cinnamon roasted cashews, tiramisu wafers and Italian style sesame breadsticks. A great introduction to a hot Italian wine.
Yum-O!
