Wine Party in Budapest

They'll be whooping it up in Budapest at the annual Budapest Wine Festival this September 6th through the 10th. The cheese alone would make me weak in the knees!

From Budapest Wine Exhibition and Fair:

The most frequented event of the annual Budapest Wine Festival is the Wine Exhibition and Fair, which is held in one of the capital's most elegant settings, the Buda Castle. During the festival, numerous domestic and foreign winemakers offer their products for tasting. Gastronomy is also an integral part of the festival, with a grill corner, a fish "terrace," cauldron cookery, show kitchen, fresh scones and Hungarian specialities, sheep's, goat's and cow's cheese, appetisers and other delicacies to tempt visitors.

In addition to all this, the festival will feature dance and music, with shows by such well-known performers as the Ghymes, Cotton Club Singers, Benkó Dixieland Band, Hot Jazz Band, Zoltán Orosz Quartet, Four Fathers, Vivat Bacchus Choir and Béla Bartók Male Choir.
