Wine Phone

I've seen this wine phone from LG Electronics mentioned on both GearLive and Engadget iMobile, and I have yet to figure out the wine connection. I thought maybe it was going to refer to the color, like it's merlot, a term often used when referring to something dark red, but nope, no merlot color.

According to this article (LG to announce the launch of its 'Wine Phone' targeting 30 to 40 year olds), "the LCD panel was designed from wine surface making concentric circle pattern." So, wine is in there some how, but I'm lost still. Maybe it's referring to the fact that it's target the older consumer and we old farts drink wine :D
