Looking for a way to relax in Napa? Of course you'll want to do some wine tasting, but maybe you'd like some serious R&R too. If so, you'll want to check out the Napa Valley Experience at Silverado Resort. Packages cost $1,090 per couple if you arrive on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. If you arrive on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, the cost goes up to $1,390. Here's what's included:- A welcome amenity celebrating The Napa Valley Experience
- Two nights in a luxurious fireplace 1-Bedroom Suite
- Dinner at the new Grill at Silverado paired with fine Napa Valley wines
- Two mornings of at-leisure breakfast
- One 50-minute treatment per person and daily access to the spa
- Entrance to COPIA, the American Center for Wine, Food, and the Arts
- VIP tasting & Picnic Lunch at V. Sattui Winery
- Napa Valley tasting at William Hill Estates
- Silverado Concierge assistance in itinerary planning
I found out about this great package because it was spotlighted on the LA Times' Daily Travel Deal Blog. In case you're debating the pros and cons, here's what they had to say:
Why Go: If you're a rookie to the wine world but curious about wine and learning more, this is a thorough introduction. Bonus, the package price includes all tax and gratuities.
Why Not: It you don't think that you'd use the spa treatments, you might save more money booking the trip a la carte. Also, TripAdvisor has mixed traveler reviews on service.
Still, it might be worth looking into if you'd rather indulge in a massage after an day of strenuous wine tasting!
