It was calling to me on the shelf and I'm so glad I listened.
Majestic Wine Warehouse (where I finally managed to find a picture of this bottle) describes at as: A rich, jammy wine with plenty of juicy blackberry, strawberry and plum fruit flavours, typical of australian shiraz. Soft, ripe tannins and a hint of smoky earth flavour adds balance and structure. An excllent wine to drink with grilled red meats.
Most web wine shops I found it at sell it for around nine to eight dollars, so I obviously got a pretty good deal. I was impressed with its hardy taste. Not that Shiraz are known to be wimpy, but this was definitely full-bodied.
