Here's more information about the retreats from the DeLoach Vineyards web site:
At DeLoach Vineyards, the Sonoma experience is more than just great wine. Beginning in May 2007 and continuing through harvest season in September 2007, DeLoach Vineyards will host a series of monthly weekend-long Yoga Retreats that will be held at the winery's private guest house. Each retreat will be limited to 18 people. The style of yoga will either be a gentle, restorative flow or a more vigorous vinyasa or power flow, depending on the time of day and general energy level.
With sessions led by one of the Bay Area's top yoga instructors, Rosemary Garrison http://www.rosemarygarrison.com, the two-night retreats offer a unique way to experience the serenity of DeLoach Vineyards and the Russian River Valley. Twice daily yoga sessions, organic vegetarian meals from DeLoach's own garden, a vegetarian cooking class led by in-house chef Cyndicy Coudray-and, of course, top drops from our cellar-will contribute to mindfulness, overall well-being, and camaraderie.
Here is an example of some of the itinerary they have planned:
Saturday:
Light breakfast
Morning yoga session
Visit to the garden with Cyndicy Coudray to gather ingredients for the vegetarian cooking class
Vegetarian cooking class taught by Cyndicy Coudray followed by a late lunch
Afternoon yoga session
Sunset and Sauvignon Blanc by the pool
Relax and indulge over a four-course vegetarian dinner, paired with DeLoach's signature Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel
